An urgent weather warning has been issued for the southern regions of Bangladesh as meteorologists predict the possibility of Kalbaishakhi storms tonight.
According to weather experts, sudden storms accompanied by strong winds may disrupt river transportation and pose risks to vessels operating in the region.
In response, the Ministry of Shipping has instructed all water vessels to operate with extreme caution until 5:00 AM. Authorities have also advised that, if necessary, vessels should anchor near the shore to avoid potential danger.
Passengers and operators are strongly encouraged to delay travel plans if conditions worsen. Officials emphasize that safety must remain the top priority during this period of unstable weather.
The situation is being closely monitored, and further updates will be provided as needed.
